ok... i just upgraded this morning and didn't notice any major differences in the os other than the menus being tweeked a little. i have a big issue with my multitap typing... say for instance i need to get to the second letter on a button... it will input the first letter twice and i constantly need to backspace and make the changes. it happens often, say 4-5 times just within one page of SMS messaging.

is anybody else experiencing this problem with the new OS? i want to change to another os... but i tried the same process with one of the downgraded versions.. and it's not working... also, my computer keeps crashing every time i close out my desktop manager to try out different things. can anybody help?

Same thing happened to me last night, I also downgraded.

To downgrade, you have to uninstall the newer Pearl OS before installing the older one. (Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs, on your PC)

EDIT:You also need to completely wipe the pear, I think the program used is called JL_CMDR.

This only happens in multi-tap mode. Use SureType and it's not a problem. SureType is much faster anyway.

If you type a little slower while using multi-tap the problem doesn't occur either.
