no different technology telus is CDMA, and RIM has not released a CDMA pearl yet.

Unfortunately not, Telus = CDMA where as the Pearl is only available for GSM. In Canada that would be Rogers.

We need at least a 2nd independent GSM provider (Rogers / FIDO) only counts as 1 - in Canada - hence the reason we are literally getting financialy raped with our data plans. Currrently paying $60/ month for 25Mb usage with Rogers - criminal.

quite. you can get a 200 mb plan now. i think another petition needs to be started. they nudged a bit at the last one.
the petition should demand - maybe 50 mb for the $60 dollars/mos and truly unlimited for the $100/mos.

With Rogers you can get 50Mb for $65/month (double your data for $5 promotion, that's what I'm on now).
