No harm in trying this out for yourself. email yourself am mp3 file and see if you can listen to it.

I have the same problem I email myslef a mp3 but can not download the file.
Alss tryed as MMS but can hear some on mp3 but not whole file
Also can not download as MMS
Anyone have any luck with this

Try saving the attachment to the media card and playing it from there. I bet you can't play it using the media player unless it is saved somewhere on the phone.
