I had problems too with that link, the problem is the link gets abbreviated. What I did is clicked on the link on my computer and it worked. Then if you are using Internet explorer just start typing the address again www.mobile... and in the drop down box you should see the entire path. I then copied and sent the link to myself so I could open it up in my BB. Hope that helps.

I got a bit inspired to do this in an effort to make the fastest possible theme that I could... Minimizing the number of bits that the Pearl would have to push to show me what I wanted/needed. As a result, I present B&W Lightning, which is the upshot of that effort. Theme source is included, along with zips of the DM install and OTA files if you like. I'm releasing this under the GPL3 License... if you change this theme, you must send me a copy of the source, and share the changed theme here with us so everyone can enjoy it.



PM me if you enjoy the theme... I'd appreciate that. Spent quite a few hours sorting through the icons and removing the color info from them...

here's a black/blue theme i made. could use some polishing and updated logos. anyone interested can send me their email and i'll send it to them. i don't have online storage set up as of now. if there's a lot of interest i'll polish it off. also looking for a new project. any requests other than iphone(not a mac fan and others already working on it)?

i downloaded some themes OTA but it doesnt show up on my themes list. where am i suppose to find it?? or what am i suppose to do??

pull your battery then put it back in after 10 seconds. Trust me I had that same problem originally.

there's numerous threads on how to install themes ota or through dm. just do a search. got an idea for the next one, thinking a phantom-type/based (as close as i can get at least with the software at least). i'm on the fence for a white, black or color base. PM me some color votes (i might even make more than one).

Oh yeah and hit 10 but couldn't get it to work. You can get the black and blue here though-

Well Macs cannot use Desktop manager....so downloading to computer and loading through Desktop Manager's app. loader wouldn't work.

Your best bet is to either borrow a friends windows PC for desktop manager.

Or type the OTA link *just rest the mouse over the link to see its whole address in the status bar or something* into the BB browser (thats my choosen method.

Just make sure you do a hard reset (pull the battery) once the theme(s) are downloaded/installed. That will make the themes show up in the themes menu.

I've found the easiest thing to do is to e-mail myself the OTA (Over The Air) link to my phone. You can then download directly.
