Is there any way for me to force roaming on my Blackberry 8703e? Sometimes I find it would come in handy to roam for a better connection.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but "I think" if your phone is set to automatic, it will always find the best connection regardless of roaming status.

You can go to Options >Network > Change to manual and scan for networks. If other networks come up try switching to them. If you switch and get service then you're good to go. If not, then you can't roam on that network.

I do not have the option to use Manual. Only Automatic or Home network.

I beleive on Cingular BlackBerries, you won't have the option to use Manual UNLESS you are outside the US.

If you get your Cingular BlackBerry unlocked it may work in the US.

8703e is a CDMA device; I do not believe you can manually set the network. At least you could not with older CDMA devices.
