Question how do I get opera mini to work my pearl?

hey you guys,

i've heard alot of good stuff about opera mini, so i downloaded the program, and when i followed the quick installation instructions, in the end it would say "failed to connect to the internet." am i doing something wrong? why wont it install properly?

have you set the TCP settings?

Options>Advanced Options>TCP

APN: wap.voicestream.com
login & password BLANK

above is for TMobile USA

ok go options>advanced>tcp
under apn put wap.voicestream.com
user and pass are blank.
That should do it.
if not after setting these I had to delete and reload opera then after it launches close and pull batt for 30 sec. then batt back in.
That will take care of ya!

Hey thanks so much it worked! Actually replying from my fone right now. Quick question tho, is operamini free? Cuz web I installed it it said "ur service provider may charge for network traffic" wat does that mean?

Just that with certain providers they charge once you excede a certain bandwidth or charge based on usage. T-Mobiles is unlimited so there are no worries there

Tried the info on the opera site but it doesn't work.

Well I've tried these instructions... and still I get "Failed to connect to the Internet". :( Any other possible alternatives/fixes?
