Is your PIN Numeric or Alphanumeric

I have had my hands on 100's of BlackBerry devices. Can't say that I ever recall seeing one that the PIN was numeric, always alphanumeric.

I've seen two 7100t's that were all numeric. All the rest I've ever seen were alphanumeric.

You didn't offer enough choices but it's too late to change it. I have both numbers and letters.

Alphanumeric, alpha = letters, numeric = numbers. Alphanumeric is numbers and letters.

Mine is numeric (I put alphanumeric in the poll). However it's in hexadecimal.

I don't know if you can wipe the poll and start over, but if you can I'd recommend adding that option.

Hexadecimal is base 16 and uses the letters A-F to represent the single digits used for the numbers 10-15.

I suspect that all BB PINs are in hex, with no letter higher than an F. This would give roughly 4.29 Billion possible PINs.
