Default Bluetooth file transfers (Mac OS)

Anyone having any luck sending files to your Pearl via Bluetooth on Mac OS X? It keeps telling me that the device doesn't have the available services or something along these lines.

Thanks!

When you're ready to send via bluetooth, press the menu key in what file you're in and select "receive using bluetooth", then send the file from the computer. Works like a charm......

Is it possible to send files via BlueTooth on a PC?
Do they have some specific software for this?

Are you sure that works with a Mac? I have been able to transfer files only via USB cable and syncing with PocketMac.

I figured this out a few days ago too! It's very useful but I'm wondering if there is a limit on the size of the files you can send over bluetooth?

Anytime I try to send a file over 15/20mbs I get an error message. Is this the way it is or am I doing something wrong?

I'm having this problem.

No files are getting transferred from my mac to my Pearl and I need to know where the "Recieve from Bluetooth" button is.

Only thing I can transfer is photos... It says transfer failed when I try to send mp3's? And I didn't even bother with videos as they are too large.

Help?

I was able to send a file via bluetooth on my macbook pro.

1) Obviously pair the devices together. You'll be given a security code for the MAC to put into your phone.

2) Click the bluetooth icon in the menu bar. There should be a send file menu option.

3) Select which file you want to send, but don't send it yet.

4) Go to the media option and choose where to save the file. I've sent 1 MB mp3 ringtone. So I went under ringtones->device memory. You should see the menu button: recieve via bluetooth (or something like that)..

5) send the file from the MAC and then click the receive.

6) hopefully you'll see the file transfer happen and it should be in the directory that you were in.

Everything works good up until point #6.. I am not sending mp3 ringtones persay.. just mp3's (320kbps VBR) and it only allows me to choose the ringtones folder.. not the music folder under Media?? When I click accept thats when I get the failed transfer error msg..

I don't have the option for "device memory" under Music or Video.

I also don't have a microSD card yet. So I don't know if that would change and it will allow you to do it.
