I think you can get it next day. This means Monday at the earliest. I would just wait for the store either tomorrow or latest Monday.

That is my plan. Hopefully it will hit one of my local Cingular stores by Monday or I'll have to order it online as I may not have time to get out after Monday

I thought I saw & read somewhere that Cingular was going to spell out the ALT key rather than just the symbol like the TMO version. The Cingular pic on the website shows just the symbol. Interesting.

My order is on "back order" and still valid (order status webpage says "pending"). They were supposed to receive a 'rather large shipment' yesterday but that didn't happen. So, the customer service rep estimated 3-5 more working days.

I hope it really does ship soon for you guys. I hate getting on BB Hub now because every flipping article is about Cingular. And half of those are just rumors! "Some guy in Cleveland went into a Cingular store today, and he says a rep told him..." You'd think we'd have all learned by now that sales reps know next to nothing, and that phone reps are just as bad. Why their silly pseudo-prognostications deserve 15 articles a day is beyond me.

I hope we can get these babies shipped so we can all go back to talking about the devices themselves and better software and such.

Just lleft both of the CIngular stores in my neighborhood. When I ask about the 8100c they have the same stupid look on their face they had a week ago. You can even order over the internet without gouing to India!

This sucks! I was told yesterday that the shipment would be there and that my phone will be shipped out today. Another load of cr@p by Cingular I see! My order status also states 'pending' and I ordered through Premier on the 28th.

Yes, I agree. It just amazes me to see a corporation this size, heck the largest wireless provider in this country not having their ducks in a row on this Pearl launch. You always get different answers from everyone, the left hand not knowing what the right is doing. Just shake my head.

I'm only interested in what software version it has but since that info isn't posted on their download site I called a couple of local stores. Store A doesn't know a thing about it, not carrying it as far as they know, store B had one for sales persons' evaluation, just came in. When I asked the lady who answered the phone to turn it on so I could get some info, she said it wasn't accessible at that moment (OK) and when I asked when they were getting them she had no idea.

In all fairness to Cingular, I believe their site does say "selected" stores. I wonder what part of Baja has them. BTW, "Raising the FUBAR" is rich.

just spoke to my cingular vendor in westchester,ny and he said he would have them in his store on monday
