I can only 12 seconds of the ringtones to play. I've tried 6 different ones and they all only play 12 seconds.

It's really annoying, every single one cuts off right before the best part! I guess I can make them shorter, but i really would like to put the office theme so when corporate calls... well you get the idea!

Does anyone know how to set this back up?

Thanks in advance.

Howard...

I am not sure if this is the best way but this is how I fixed it. I made my voice mail number a contact in my address book. It seems in order to add a number to the Speed Dial list it has to be a contact.

I Have a page set up with ringtones and without all the html stuff so it is easy to point your bb browser to it. If anyone wants to contribute, just email me some tones and I will post them.

Index of /ringtones

[email address]

Don't forget to refresh, I am changing things often.

Default Partiot Link Lost

Upgraded. Upgrade went smooth, including keeping all OTA installed apps. Battery management seems better - I can actually get almost two days now ... But - after turning off the BB, I get a "Partiot Link Lost" java error and the BB reboots. What is up with that ?????!!!!!

Upgraded last week with no problem. Today I went to use Ramble IM for the first time since upgrading and got the following error: Invalid Connection String: Max connections opened. Then I tried to log on using mig33 and also got a connection error.

g-talk and !yahoo seem to work fine.

Anyone have any ideas?

Mike

This has been a great update. I can actually show off my theme to other blackberry users, without being embarassed!! Now I can't seem to stay off my berry for the life of me.... Tis phone will hold me off from getting a new one anytime soon!

Does anyone know a good program to create your own ringtones? The one that I am using takes a clip from an mp3 and decodes it into a wav, but the file is only like 10 seconds long and it is over a meg in size! How is everyone getting their wav files compressed so much?

Also, since doing the upgrade, which went great, now everytime I turn on my phone I get a new registration message. Anyone else having this? Something that could be cured by a master radio reset or something?

I DLed the upgrade and everything seems to be working fine, however, everytime I turn the phone on I get a message with the subject "Registrartion"

and the message says

Your handheld has been registered with the wireless network.

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Thanks
