Default Error event after upgrade to 4.1.2

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all.

I've just upgraded BES from 4.0.5 to 4.1.2. Went more or less smoothly, and email is flowing ...

One small issue. I keep gettting Event 15000 from the MDS connection service with the following data:

Does anyone know what this is?

Richard

Default Yes, we re-installed

Yes, we saw this issue after upgrade to BES for Domino 4.1.2 and application of Hotfix#1.

Tried to troubleshoot it (compared logs for before and after upgrade) and saw no logging of issues...so we installed BES 4.1.2 again.

Issue fixed.

Didn't bother with the Hotfix #1 application - only 1 issue fixed by the hotfix hadn't affected our environment...

When you say installed BES 4.1.2 again, is that a complete flat install, or just reinstall the 4.1.2 upgrade again over existing, thus keeping all users etc that are setup? I don't want to have to totally flatten as we will loose all users and it will be a nightmare re-activating them all!

Default Complete re-install works for me...

We completely re-installed, but as we had backed up our SQL database and hadn't removed any Domino state databases we were fine.

If you run the installer (or the upgrade) again you shouldn't have any issues.
