Default 7280 Master Reset

Please Login to Remove!

I am selling a 7280 and need to do a Master Reset clearing everything from the unit and the SIM card, bringing it back to factory settings.
Can't find my manual.

Thanks,
Tony

Default 7280 wipe

I have version 3.7.121 and it does not have a wipe option under security.
Is there another way to wipe it clean????

Could always use the javaloader.exe

1) Connect your BlackBerry, open a DOS prompt and type
javaloader -usb wipe

2) Make sure you have the latest version of your handheld's Operating System. See the sticky thread on top for links to every carrier's version of the handheld OS. Download and install

3) Restart Desktop Manager. The OS should now reload.

Nope just means no OS on your device. Need to download and install an OS on your PC, then run DM to install it to your BB. See the ringtone thread sticky for packaged alx files to find an OS.

you can also reset the 7290 by going to Options>Security and then press the scroll button and select "Wipe Handheld" Click on "Continue" and then type in the word blackberry to confirm.

You could also type the password in wrong 10 times to security wipe if you enabled the password feature.

That only wipes out the customer data. It does not wipe out programs, applications or the OS.
