I have studied this forum and have learned a lot about email configuration.
I found out a way to get the 'send using' when I reply to a message now:

But now that I can do this, I have a dilemma.

I setup forwarding for 4 pop acccounts to go to the tmobile email on the 7290. I like this because this is at the server and the email is very fast and you can see the reply address (if I forward using my email client-outlook express, I have no idea where it is coming from on the BB). I also set these 4 accounts on the blackberry as well. Now with the above program, I am able to select which email I want to reply from, wonderful!!

BUT........I want the pop accounts to continue to be picked up by my pc's email program at home - outlook express, so when I forward, I choose to keep a copy on the server, but this is a problem because the blackberry accounts are also polling. SO what do I do? is there a way I can use the accounts on the blackbery as dummy acounts that dont do anything and just exist for the purpose of replying to messages sent to the tmo.blackberry.net account?

I know IMAP would be a good solution, but I can only do this on one account.

I noticed in the BIS at tmobile website I can check the

'Do not forward messages to handheld', but I still think that retrieving of email from the email server has already taken place at this point?

If not, and this means the file will remain on the pop server and not be forwarded, this would be solve my problem.

Does anybody know?

Blackberry accounts do not remove emails from the pop server.

Set 'do not forward messages to handheld' in BIS and it should work for you.

I see, yes you are right. The BB leave the email on the server, great!!!!
