I am pretty sure that I read where the new BB OS that is "supposed" to be coming out will enable PTT on the 8700c. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I guess right now it is purely speculation any old way.

That is likely true. They are testing it. The app is part of the 4.2 code for the 8700 series.
