Default stream music from 8100 to xbox 360

Please Login to Remove!

I don't know how many of you care (what's the average age of the users on this site?) I tried streaming the music from the media card on my 8100 to the 360 and it works without a hitch...

thought I'd share...

plug it in to usb.
go to the media blade.
navigate to where your music is on the berry. (I think it only works in conjunction with a media card)
play your selected tunes...

all done on the xbox 360...

no downloads at all like the ipod one from the marketplace...

I would imagine with a USB cable... It should work since it sees it as a HDD

It even has the charging icon on the berry, however it states that there is not enough power to charge. like when you don't have the drivers installed on your pc and plug it in...

I don't know if that is coherent...

Now the next quest is for someone to stream music to a PS3 using bluetooth. That would be awesome.

If RIM had thought to include Macromedia Flash support like so many other phones, I could stream audio, video and video to my Blackberry using TVerisity. TVersity streams ANYTHING to the Xbox 360 or any other device.

No the Pearl does not have A2DP support to stream music over bluetooth though. Thats y bluetooth headphones cant be used. I dont think that the XBox has bluetooth, otherwise it would have been plastered all over its box. I know the PS3 has it for sure.
