I'm a journalist, and I like to keep contacts. I'd like to archive them instead of outright deleting them. I'm running outlook 2003 to sync with my BB. Is there a way to accomplish that?

Create a separate "Archived Contacts" folder in Outlook 2003, and drag-and-drop your contacts from your main Contacts folder to the "Archived Contacts" folder.

These will stay in Outlook 2003 but won't get synchronized to your BlackBerry.
