Hi all,

I'm new - and trying to find my around the sea of Blackberry services and software packages. I'm on the road 6 days a week and need, no make that want, to leave my notebook at home.

My hope was that I could use the Blackberry to modify quotes and cover letters and access some data (pricing/ attachments) sitting on my home PC - but after a day of surfing I don't see any easy way to do this. BES would seem to be an option but it's a bit steap price wise. I was hoping to find something cheap and dirty to automate/ semi-automate the B2B/ B2C sales process...

Any thoughts - Maybe I'm missing some thing right under my thumbs...

You can already view attachments:
DOC / XLS / PDF / TXT / JPG / GIF / TIF / PNG

For editing attachments, you need something like eOffice:

(Although you do not need BES for this particular task, BES can be useful for many things -- you can get Hosted BES for $10-$25 per month)

Thanks for that - looks interesting, Q: How do you find it in terms of usability (small screen/ small keyboard) when trying to edit an 8.5X11 page? Would seem that you have to flip between a few eOffice 'apps' to get the job done. Why is it that everyone tries to replicate the Windows OS on tiny screens?

Anyway -Ideally I would lilke to get an email from a client, type a reply/ modify a stored doc, attach the required files and be done with it without fliping through options/ apps - but I understand I'm dreaming! Even better would be to have some one I could email the details to and have them do it for me while I enjoy the drive home :D

And I though technology was to make life easier.....
