Remove the battery for 30 seconds and then put it back in. That's the only reboot for a 71xx device.

It will just restart. No data will be lost.

It will only reboot the device - you won't lose any data.

A great way I use to reboot my 7130e (Verizon) is to enter ##000000 (that's 6 zeros) and then hit send. You'll get to a settings screen. If you click the wheel and select save, it will reboot the device.

Are there any other "codes" besides the ##000000?

It works on mine, but it looks like there is not much to be changed. I know, I know, I'll use the nifty search feature after this post.

yea pull the batter out while the system is on.. then put it back after 30 sec. You should be good to go after that.

It is also said to hold down the power button and then pull out the battery. A sprint tech had me do that one time to fixed a problem.
