RIM is aware if the issue. They been having issues for the last couple of weeks. Especially the 7130e

same here on Sprint, but with the 7250. Just started this morning. A few emails crept through delayed, but now nothing. I've tried resending service books, the arrows go crazy, but then no messages. Tried deleting the service book off the device to see if a new one shows up, but nothing. Very disappointing.

This new round of problems doesn't seem to be network or device-specific. It would appear to be a global RIM BIS problem.

Same problem with Nextel, here in Vegas. Service is significantly delayed. It worked great up until now... I can send messages with no problem; I just cant receive messages.

I'm glad things are working for you again. I still worry about what this means for our BIS service. Is it ever going to be reliable again?

Default BIS Articles??

Isn't there a RIM/Blackberry knowledge base that displays known issues, or problems that are presently effecting customers; something similar to the Microsoft Knowledge Base? I can't seem to find the article, which details the problem.

The flood has begun - just got over 40 emails and the four attempts at resending service books. I'm here in Texas, but thought I'd share that. Also not sure if it is a temporary fix or if things are back to normal. I'll keep an eye on it and update here.

p.s. Just have to say what a great resource this site is. I've enjoyed it for discussions about upcoming and recent releases, themes, software, but this issue is a critical one that really I would not have known what to do if it wasn't for great members like everyone here. So, thanks, and I hope everyone gets up and runnning soon.

I'll second that. If it weren't for this site, I probably would have wasted many hours over the last couple of weeks on the phone with Sprint's generally-useless technical support, as they bounced me around from one person to the next and asked me to "remove the battery" on my Blackberry for the hundredth time! It helps to know when there is a system-wide problem, as opposed to an individualized issue.

If your with Verizon, contact their Data Support team and have them escalate to RIM. You will be given a case number from RIM for their troubleshooting effort. VZW DTS 866-788-9387
