Default Today Theme for 8700

Does anyone have a good theme that is similar to the 8707 Today screen or any good Today screen theme?

OK - I've tried pocket day and personally I'm not a big fan. I've seen the Today Theme discussed as part of the Telstra o/s upgrade but I'm not clear if it's in that o/s release or not.

I really like the Today Theme that was shown as part of the next 8707 device. Is this theme available anywhere???

Check the Ringtones, Theme thread. You'll find discussion of the Today theme there.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8700g: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

When the today themes are out it will be obvious by the number of threads asking how to get it, where to get it, and my favorite... How to install it.

it's not publically available anywhere. if you want the current discussion on it and various informational tidbits and screenshots and pre-release bugs and workarounds, then you can go to my thread here:

You can get the Today theme now. You have to look in the Vodafone UK download site for the 8707 software then load it to your 8700. (Those with prior knowledge of doing this will know what I'm talking about and how to do it).

I used javaloader.

I'm not that impressed with it just yet. Today is June 8 but it is showing June 13 and 14, yet I have appointments between now and then.

Other's thoughts?

The calendar feature of Dimension Today and Vodafone Today is primitive. On mine it will only show the timed events for the next day that has those - no all-day events. And with only 2 lines, it is inherently limited. What these themes are nice for is notification of the most recent emails received, missed calls etc.

Pocketday is great if you set it up to open at the Month view. Best calendar out there. It is highly customisable; you don't have to accept the defaults.

The Vodafone Today theme is a bit poor and the Zen one has a font Stevie Wonder could see. The colour on the Vodafone one is very greyscale and you can't have images behind it. What I would have liked to have seen would be be the ability to click in and out of the Today view, having it as an icon on the mainscreen rather than having to look at it as a permanent desktop. Could have pushed the envelope there RIM!!!!
