I just got one from SmartphoneDepot for my 8700r. Nice. It's made by RIM so it fits like a champ. Only hassle is I now need a new case -- just a bit too fat now to fit in my Fortte vertical pouch. The new back cover adds a bit less than 1/2" to the thickness.

I'm interested in knowing if any 8700g extended batteries (with the matching T-Mobile dk blue door) have appeared for sale as well. Last poster said they got one for the 8700R, but how about 8700g... Anyone?

According to SPD Smartphone Depot:
Attention T-Mobile 8700 users::: The 8700g has a different shape door and the "c" or "r" version will NOT fit.

There is a company called Tessco that sells just about every official OEM Blackberry accessory you can think of, including the extended batteries for the 8700g. They are a very reputable company. Try this link:
