The SIM card and address book are two different things. When you go to your address book in your BB, you can load the addresses from your SIM. Which are you talking about?

Let me jump to the bottom line, forgot your SIM card, it's useless. Enter everything into Outlook. Sync it OTA, you're done.
Blackberry isnxxx8217;t like your old cell phone where the SIM keeps all your numbers; the Blackberry has a 32K SIM. i.e. it canxxx8217;t store much over a name and a phone number.

I thought that a SIM card could only hold 255 details. There are different sized SIM cards though and I'm not sure which one holds the 355 contact details.

i just wanted to save them onto my SIM card cause unfortunatly my company is switching back to the sidekick from the 8700g (so stupid, Im so mad) and so i just needed to save them onto there to get them back on the sidekick but unfortunatly the sidekick isnt like the blackberry where you can connect it to the computer to upload things and stuff so ill probably be loading them onto the sidekick one by one again.

Your company uses Sidekicks? I've never heard of a company issuing Sidekicks. Treos - Sure. BBs - Definately. Sidekicks - eewww.

Yes you can save to your SIM. It will save the name and one phone number per contact. I use this all the time. I have saved my most called contacts to my SIM because sometimes I like to carry a smaller phone. I pop out my SIM from my BB and slide it into my smaller phone and the SIm saved contacts list shows up.

Maybe a Sidekick makes sense for a SMB? But I would think that a SMB would see a better ROI or more productivity from a BB, than a Sidekick. I agree...this is definately a first I've heard of a company handing out SK's as opposed to BB's (or Treo's or WM)

Ya i keep saving contacts to the card but it wont add more than 31. Do i have to switch the mobile number to a work number because i know when i loaded my sim onto my BB it loads all the #'s onto work not mobile??
