Default 8700 for Verizon users?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi - I am new to this board. Does anyone know if there are plans for Verizon to come out with the 8700? I refuse to switch to another provider b/c coverage is so bad but I really want an 8700. Thanks

I have heard from the Carrier Manager for Alltel that Alltel should have a version of the 8700 around September. Verizon should have it...usually before Alltel does! I had an 8700c and it was FANTASTIC! ALMOST worth going back to Cingular's "average at best" coverage just for the handset!!

Don't get me wrong, I like my 7130, but that damn "multi-tap" and "Suretype" take some getting used to! I'd MUCH rather have the 8700!!!

I second that. I like the 7130 but once you go 8700 there's no turning back!!!
