Does the BT icon at the top show "paired" ? I have seen this on some BT BB's and it usually happens when the headset gets out of range and comes back into range and doesn't seem to sync back up correctly.

I had this with my phone. I gutted the software and reinstalled it. It worked fine for 1 1/2 weeks and then got the jvm 102 error again. I did this about 4 times, and finally got another. Ive have not had a problem since. And even being on the phone with support, they even say to do the same thing that it is the phone.

The only issue that I have had is a JVM 120 error code.

I had to go to blackberry site to search for a fix and I did find it, working fine so far.

Default network time an hour off

I haven't seen this as a reported bug yet, but Nextel is aware of it--the network time is one hour off. In other words, when it is really 6:30PM Central time, the network time says it is 5:30PM--really annoying for me and anyone who has to travel a great deal.

My problem is this every time I try and download yahoo messger onto the phone it says my 7100 I isn't compatible. I have the latest blackberry desktop software and software for my phone. Anyone got any ideas.

that really bites. I have lost just as many before cause a sales person told me they can swap my contacts and just erased all of them right before my very eyes. And the response I got after they did that was "WOW", "I never saw that happen before"

Default wow!

I just found this site and wish I had before I bought 14 7100i's. My life has been hell since they lauched! I am on 4.1.136 as everyone else is. I've gone through the multi ring tone issue (two at a time-had to contact suppor t on that one, learned to set the profile to off, power down the phone, change the profile to normal ( or whatever one the user was using), then reboot the phone againwhich also fixes the lose of voicemail notification error. My latest batch of errors (three this week is the JVM 102 error which I am currently trying to fnd a fix for without having to run down to the Sprint store.

I miss my 7100t right now...

Default ...

3 pages so far not sure if I missed a post, but the biggest(and smallest...) over all DUMBEST bug of all on this entire phone is the fact that the browser refuses to let you download .wav files to save as ringtones. It's totally absurd and obnoxious, and the fact that it's been like 6 months since the problem was first recognized and it's still not fixed is beyond me.

How can the release the 4.1.136 manual with a section on page 14 telling people how to downlaod/save .wav files for ringtones when they quite obviously cannot.... and they can't even pretend like they don't know about the issue, I think many a person from these forums themselves have made the issue widely known to them.

My main "bug" is not with the BB itself, but with the Desktop Manager Software. I'm running Windows XP and Office/Outlook 2003, and any time the DM software references one of the field names from Outlook, it's all gibberish -- looks almost like an attempt at an Asian font.

I've never installed anything -- even by accident -- and selected a language other than English.

Any ideas?
I had this experience last night when I attempted to upgrade my OS and handheld software. I had been using the latest software for the 7520. When I purchased the 7100i, I was able to synchronize and transfer all my Outlook data to the 7100i with no problem. However, when I removed the old Desktop Manager/Handheld software and installed the new (4109dt-ml.exe for the DM, and the rather long filename that begins "7100iM..." and ends with "..._SprintNextel.exe," I got the gibberish in the field names when I configured the applications.

I had this problem once with the 7520. I found advice on the forum to uninstall and reinstall the BB software, ensuring that I had cleaned the windows registry and deleted all RIM/BB/synch directories and files from the HD. It worked fine then, but it didn't work when I tried it last night. I will work on it some more this evening.

BTW, I set up the same SW files on my work computer. The differences are that the work box is running Win2k and I have XP Pro at home, and the work machine has Outlook 2002-SP3 and the home machine has Outlook 2003. Everything works fine at work. I think Outlook 2003 is the culprit.

"But strangest of all is the one where I will be in dc with someone and then every once in a while, the connection will stay open! And it will happen both ways! Sometimes people can continue to hear me and sometimes I can continue to hear other people. And I can assure you, I know how to let go of the dc button. Let me tell you other 7100i users that if you are anything like me, you'll get into the habit of using the "end" button after each dc transmision. It keeps me out of trouble."

Dont forget to mention the indication arrow on the top left does not show up even when the phone is stuck in TX mode. This has almost got me in trouble a few times too.

I have a system input error when looking though my contacts. The system resets quickly and I then resume what I was doing.

All my other issues have already been covered.
