Do you think RIM would realease the design or license it?
I don't think you can manufacture something that a company already produces without infringing on the tradmarked/patented design.
I'm thinking you could possibly "modify" an OEM part to a different spec. without any liable actions.
If we could find a good system for dying the plastics and only do it to OEM housings, you could then re-sell the product.
I'm not into business law though, so I could be full of it.
Anyone know?
