No. You don't seem to be very happy despite having a productive scenario described to you that no other device on the market can come close to duplicating.
iOS is an app launcher and android is a confused mess that requires a lot of processing power to work well and even then can implode and can't match QNX multitasking.
All devices have their strong points but it seems as if you have an axe to grind with BB. Because, let's face facts, BB can ride the QNX pony for the next ten years and offers what no other device can. You're missing Skype? It'll be along.
BTW, I've had the Z10 running since 7:30 this morning and still over 50% charge remaining. Pretty light load today however. 9.5 hours as I write.
I would hazard to say that the apps will be coming. Their absence has less to do with BB than the app developers. I've never heard of the apps you want so critical mass will be important if app developers want to stock BlackBerry World with arcane offerings. Small user base may mean they might never show up. Let's hope BB10 catches on in the US.
Interesting responses to my original post, thanks.
Unfortuneately my 60,000 employee company has no plans to support BES10 so the Q10 is not an option. I will be travelling regularly so really need roaming data (Whatsapp etc). I cannot justify the ludicrous data roaming charges so I have decided to purchase the best available BB7 device which I believe to be the 9900 (correct me soon if wrong) because of the global BES and BIS features.
Even if my company did support BES10 I believe they would cripple it as they did my curve with the corporate policies as this is a for business device or is that not the way BB10 is designed to be used in its app-centric focus?
The 4 year old design was taken from a Huffington Post review (I tried linking but was not allowed). Remember if you are a BB apostle a full-on touch screen device must seem like the first snowfall of winter but to experienced Android and iOS users it is old-hat.
Anyways, sticking with BB because of BIS. Blackberry please take note... Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile
