There is 1 particular user whose BB is sending out 100's of "sent Messages" to "Duress Alert".

Is there a way to turn this Duress Alert thing off? He is extremely annoyed by the 100's of PIN messages sent out to "Duress Alerts"

Doesn't it only send a Duress notification if the user enters the duress password to unlock the device?

Or has this user set a password with all the same characters?

I dont really know what his BB password is

And yes i did refer the IT policy Duress guide

If you have Duress alerts enabled, you have to ensure users dont have passwords such as:

11111
aaaaa
etc
etc

As this will trigger the Duress Alert every time the user unlocks the device.

You can enable a Password Pattern Checks IT Policy item which I believe will stop users from setting such passwords.
