Default New T-mobile Service Books

Please Login to Remove!

I used to have multiple inboxes on my BB home screen with each account I added for the BIS; they are now gone. I spoke with T-mobile technical support and they had no answer so they transferred me to RIM. The RIM agent told me that T-mobile pushed new service books last weekend and that the feature will no longer be available. It is now like the Cingular BIS service; that stinks. Anyone else notice this?

I am still able to send/receive from all 3 of my BIS accounts, but have never been able to sort them as 3 separate inboxes. All are grouped together in the order they are sent/received.

Are you saying that you were able to view each mailbox separately?

Yes. Each mailbox was listed by email address and when mail arrived it would indicate how many unread were in each mailbox.

So you had an icon on your main screen for each mailbox? I have never heard of this.

I had the same thing happen to me when I went to 4.1 on my 7100t. All I did was hide the individual mailbox icons. All of my emails still go to the main messages mailbox. Not really a big deal.

That happened to me on my first 8700, I had indivdule mail boxes apart from the main box. Then when I had to exchange it, with the new BB they went away. It was odd.

Hmm -- that would be a nice feature. Wonder why they removed it? Guess it wasnt quite ready for prime time?

It seems that I can't adjust my filters for my various BIS accounts on the Blackberry itself either (used to be able to do so)...

Yeah, I've never been able to do that. Actually, this was one of the selling points for the BB in the first place. Bummer.

Let us know if (and how) you get this working again.

Default You can't search by folder?

Thought there was a way to do that.

I still have my separate boxes on my home screen: Messages | Gov't Mail | Personal Mail

Best thing to do is backup your data, then when I upgraded service books, it was gone, easy... I just replaced certain files from my back up and voila! Same as before.

Can you explain in detail how you did this???

I have upgraded 2 7105t's to 4.1 (hong kong) the first one was fine only one inbox. The second one came up with 2 inboxes and no email is being recieved.
