Hello,

I have a user which use a 9800 with OS 6.0.0.576 and I also tried to change the device to a 8520 with OS 5.0.0.681.
Sometimes the blackberry doesn't display the attachment icon. It does not show that there are any attachments to the email.

This problem is intermittent, so it can't be the attachment service. Say like 1 in 30 or more mails. The attachment may vary from a small 1kb jpeg to a 1mb pptx.

I dont have this problem with any of my other 20+ BES users.

While in the mail if I go to menu and select "More All" it will download the attachment and then show the icon under the subject line with the sign that there is an attachment.

But if I dont know that there is an attachment I dont know when to select "More All" and get the attachment.

I saw also this forum post but there is no answer in there.

Not sure what your trying to do but you cannot change a 9800 to a 8520 blackberry. As for the attachments, the email will show it has attachments and from there the user should know to do either "more all" or "open/ download" the attachment. Have them read the manual, you may find it helps if they understand what their doing.

I mean I activated the same user on two different terminals. First he had the problem on a Torch, and then he had the same issue on a 8520.

The problem is that I have another 20 pieces of 8520 in use on the same BES that dont have this problem.'

The problem is exactly there! The icon that flags the fact that there is an attachment does not appear.
