I broke my screen but the phone is still working. Is there a way for me to get my SMS messages using a computer utility of BB desktop?

A backup and restore onto a new BlackBerry should get it done. You can also try ABC Amber Converter to open a backup file on your pc. You might be able to see the SMS messages that way.

I am not going to be getting a new BB so transferring to a new phone is not an option.
