I just got a new Blackberry Torch, had the Blackberry Bold before. When I got the new phone the ATT store moved all my contacts over to the new phone. For some reason the birthday's did not come over with it.

So I started entering birthday's and for some reason, it puts the birthday on two different days. For example. I entered by brothers birthday in his contact as May 3, 1967. Saved. Then went to the Calendar and it shows up on May 3rd and May 4th. what is up with that. And the other thing is that it put it under my facebook email as opposed to my regular email account.

Is there a fix for this?

make sure you check the 'all day' box. I also set the status as free.
Your brother and I share the same birthday!

I have this same exact problem and don't know how to fix it either. It is automatically added to the calendar when I enter birthday information for a contact. It doesn't make sense for me to have to edit it to "all day" in calendar itself..

What I find most unusual is that the birthday is scheduled from 4AM on the day of their birthday until 4AM the next day. Is this perhaps a time zone issue and it is off by 4 hours?

Realised that the problem doesn't happen when I add the birth date to my contact but only occurs after google sync syncs the event with google calendar...

Is it the same trigger for you?
