is their any other messenger that will allow me to use MSN without downloading MSN, if you know what I mean?

Sounds like the "block" is not having a BlackBerry data plan. Or is an IT Policy from a BES you're on blocking your ability to download/use MSN Messenger?

I have a blackberry data plan, not sure what the next thing exactly means, just got it so you can say I am total NOOB when it comes to this.

BES is a BlackBerry Enterprise Server system that large companies run to keep all their users connected to the company's email system, calendars, and global address lists. Typically you're on a BES when your company issues you a BlackBerry.

Now what does this have to do with Windows Live Messenger?

Is this a company issued BB? If so, you are most likely connected to the BES. The company probably has an IT Policy which restricts what you can do with the device. If that is the case, then there is nothing you can do. Trying to circumvent a company IT Policy can be grounds for termination at some firms.

Very often, when you're on a corporate BES the company pushes a bunch of restrictions on how you can use your BlackBerry. It's called an IT Policy. That Policy can keep you from downloading third-party apps, can keep you from using personal email accounts, and can limit what you do with the BlackBerry.

If you cannot download it directly onto your BlackBerry from the link I posted, and you're on a BES, you'll have to speak to your admins about it.

It worked after a few times of re-installing the aps, and also taking the battery out.
