Fatal Error when updating

Picked up a 9700 today. It was a Rodgers phone and I unlocked for Fido. when I connect it to the computer and run the BB desktop it tells me there are updates. OS6 and a bunch of stuff. Anyway I do the update and right at the end it gives me fatal error while updating.....then the phone reloads and is the same as when I started.
It already has OS 6 loaded so not sure what the update is.
