Google Local for mobiles is definitly more robust, I agree; however, I do find that Berry411 returns results much quicker that glm. Also, since Berry411 is polling Google Local for much of it's information, the end content is often very similar.

Also, Berry411 is much less bandwidth intensive than glm for those non-unlimited-data users out there.

I've ended up using the two in conjuction more than once: Berry411 to quickly retrieve phone number, address etc., and glm to get an overview of the surrounding streets.

I can't get the link to work for a desktop install. Any ideas? The OTA link isn't working for me either.

I was easily able to download the latest version of Berry411 OTA by accessing http://www.thebogles.com/berry411.jad
from my Blackberry browser. However, I receive an HTTP Error 400 message indicating that "the server could not understand the page request" whenever I try to use any of the Berry411 features on my Cingular 8700c. Could it be that Berry411 is trying to access the wrong browser (WAP vs. HTML)? Does anyone know a way to fix this problem?

I just solved this problem by changing the Default browser and Default MDS browser configuration to "Internet Browser" via the Advanced Options > Browser menu on the 8700c.
