Default Freezing!

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 8520 curve and it keeps freezing!
When if freezes, i used to be able to just reboot it then it would be ok, but now if i reboot it, it works for about 30 seconds then it freezes again. It's not a memory problem. Is there a way to fix it?

Are you sure it isn't memory related?

By reboot, do you mean doing a battery pull?

Did you use the SEARCH feature as this has been asked before?

What were you doing just before this began to occur? Did you install any themes or apps that might not be compatible with the device and/or the OS?

What OS are you running?

Did you drop it or get it wet?

I'm pretty sure it's not memory related because i have a 4GB, and i don't really have that many apps...or photos...or songs...or texts...><
and yeah, battery pull, alt+right shift+enter, removing memory card and SIM card...
i can't really check for the OS or anything right now because as i said, 30 seconds and then freeze.
and i didn't drop it or get it wet...
i'll try using the search feature now...><

The SD card has very little to do with it. Need to know how much free memory is on the device: options>status - File free. How much do you have?

This may help as you try to free up some, providing it stops freezing.

If you cannot stop it, wipe with Jl_cmdr (see the FAQ) and reload the OS (see the yellow sticky at the top of the 8500 section for the latest OS and instructions). Keep in mind that you will lose all data unless you have a recent back up.

Davion7, do you have an 8520 as per your post or an 8220 per your profile?
