I loaded the new OS6 for my 9700 Bold and now my Gmail Mobile is not working proper. The only issue I see right now is not being able to reply to emails. I can select REPLY, and type the body but a click of the BKB Button to send it and or the BKB Square does nothing. I cant reply, copy etc etc. Just a dead screen. Nothing.
I have reinstalled and I have restarted and have done a hard boot as well. Any thoughts?
is it just the gmail on the device?,
or is it a program?
have you sent the service books down to your device from your device?
just need a bit more info please

It is the gmail downloaded software taken off the google site specific to Blackberry devices.
I haven't sent any service books to the device as I have never had to before. Its an odd problem to have as it seems like the program just decides to stop working. Google for BlackBerry
I reinstalled for fun and it still would not work so I just BIS'ed it and it seems to be working fine. Oh well, one way or another! Thanks for the help.
The Menu button also stops working with Google maps, btw. When searching for a location in google maps, the button does nothing, no copy or paste or nuttin!

Unless you're using Google Sync, there's no need to install a Google app to your BB. BIS account will do what you need to when you add the Gmail account to it.

I dont agree; the Gmail java app - when working properly - provides a better service for mobile email than BIS, IMO. Also, some of us don't have a BIS account so the app makes an excellent alternative.
It would be nice however if Google updated it more frequently (no updates for over a year I believe) and allowed it to display HTML.
