I have a blackberry 7250 that is stuck with a little icon with a circle+square+triangle with a slash through it and the number 507 below.

Does anybody have any idea of what that means?

I beleive a 507 error means that no operating system is found on the BB.

Have you tried removing the battery to reset?

You may need to reload the handheld OS.

device must be reloaded, no applications are found. Did you try installing a different OS and unplugged the device? If not, let me know.

Easy fix is to open up the desktop manager, click on applicationloader and click next a few times. It will load the apps back up.

I've tried a few times and no luck...I think one of the desktop support persons here knows what might fix it.

I'll check with him and let you know what the resolution is.

OS is missing or has been nuked. Reinstall.

I just needed to have the corporate folks here re-install the OS and all apps and it was back to normal.
