Would very much like to see and save SMS (current and saved) on my PC. I have BB 8700 and loaded DeskTop Mgr., but it doesn't have that option. I am deaf, so my BB cell and SMS text are my narrow communication avenue besides email, which I don't do on the BB 8700. Can anyone help me? Feel free to email me (to my PC)... been working on this issue for weeks. uggg...

Use ABC Amber Blackberry Converter (pay but not expensive). Backup your BB to your PC/Laptop. Open ABC Amber BB Converter and look at anything you want. As they are backups you can keep them forever if you choose.

Wow!! johnline you are amazingly helpful, thank you so much. I will check it out asap. Been trying to solve this for a long time. I became deaf a few years ago and my world is text now. Like BlackBerry, but don't like the DskTop software's very generic and limited functions. With old cell I could look at texts stored (i.e. SMS). You have really blessed me today and I will go look at your recommendation (hope I can afford it though-LOL).
