Recently migrated from Domino to Exchange and we finally got got a new BES 5.0 server up and running. I am still trying to get used to the web based interface. In our old Domino based BES 4.0, I could run Excel and then import external data from the SQL server that the BES user database was on. I am not the server admin on this new 5.0 BES and I don't see anything about its using for a user database. There are only 40 users on it as we test before we move the other 1500 over. Is there a way to do the same thing and extract the data using Excel so I can have a nice spreadsheet with all of the user and hand-held data I need to so?

There might be a faster way, but try:

BlackBerry solution management
User
Manage users
Manage Multiple Users
(Select All Users)
* Export asset summary data for selected users
or
* Export statistics for selected users

Sorry for the delay in replying. This does help somewhat and I appreciate your response. However, I have been getting much more detailed reports on the BES 4 server as I mentioned in my previous post to using Excel to connect to the SQL Server database and extracting specific tables. Is there someone on the BES 5 console where it list the name of the SQL server, as it does on the BES 4 console?

BES monitoring part can give you this. Install this and you can create custom reports.
