When i select an item using the track-pad, a mini-menu will pop-up before the item is opened. For instance, if i select an icon from main page a menu will pop-up and have 6 selections (Launch, switch app, mark as fav, move, and Full menu)

This will occur throughout the OS. I can't seem to find the setting switching this off. I don't think this always occurred, only after i completed a backup/restore from my bold 9000 (where i also had this occur).

So hopefully somebody has an idea where on the 9800 this can be toggled off (or even the location of this setting on previous BB models would be helpful). Thanks!

You must be holding the pad down too long.

Also, type in "track" on your main screen, click on options, trackpad sensitivity.
