Is there a way to download an app from appworld directly to your computer then transferring it to your bb?

ugh...I thought so. My problem is, going to the online site, searching for an app, sending the download link to my phone, only to open appworld without the download button. The only buttons are: Reviews, Recommend, and Screenshots. Even the download button on the lower left is grayed out.

Specifically the 2 that I'm trying to download are Citysearch and UrbanSpoon. Can anyone verify these are available for the Torch? The discription says all devices.

Most likely it's not compatible with your OS version yet.

For UrbanSpoon, have you tried the links directly from their website to see if any of those will work on your device?

Thanks for the link. I guess Urbanspoon isn't ready for the Torch yet. The page didn't fully load. Just jibberish. I guess I'll just have to wait it out.

Go to that page from your COMPUTER and right click on the links. Copy the link location and EMAIL it to your BlackBerry.

You're the best Motorcycle Mama! That worked and I was able to download the Bold's version. Unfortunately the app is too wide for the screen and it cuts off both ends. Other than that it does function. Couldn't find any options in the menu so I deleted it. These apps will eventually catch up....I HOPE! I'm going on vacation in the fall and these apps come in so handy!
