Question trying to learn more

i downloaded the bb desktop manager to my computer but i am haveing problems opening it up can someone give me a hand whats a easy way to open it

Then you have a PC problem, not a BlackBerry problem.

Make sure you download and install the DM v5, without Media Manager. It's smaller and the Media Manager software is quite clunky.

Angry dang computer

i downloaded the desktop manager dm v5.0 without the media manger and still nothing i now its my computer i think i need to upgrade to a better computer but for right now is there something i can do to open my bb desktop manager can someone give me a little help i now that there is a way just cant figure it out i now i am missing something

XP, Vista, Windows 7?

Right click your My computer icon, go to properties, it should tell you.

Angry dang computer

i dont now what i am doing wrong here maybe i have an older computer its a microsoft windows xp but i downloaded the bb desktop manager v5.0 without the media manager and i still cant open it up i want to learn more about it can some one out there give me a step by step on a how to do it its getting fustrateing i have looked every were everytime i tried to open it up my computer goes slow and almost seems like it freezes on me

What OS on the PC and how much RAM?

Did DM install on the PC - do you have an icon for it? Or did the exe file just download someplace?

standered pc i think it says its a intel pentium III 334 MHz 128 MB of ram i can find what i downloaded it is in my download folder not much of an icon

Wow, "intel pentium III 334 MHz 128 MB of ram". That may have been a standard PC 10 years ago but not now. I am wondering if DM will even run on this ancient puter.

I don't think DM will run on your PC.

Suggestion: Find a friend with a new model or buy a newer PC.
