I upgraded to OS v5.0.0.1137 and the device booted fine the first time, but now when it boots up I see the blackberry loading bar make it all the way through then it goes to the desktop screen and as soon as the loads the security settings the screen goes white and stays that way.

I pulled the battery and put it back in and the same thing happens.

I think OS v5.0.0.1137 broke my phone! :(

We call .1137 OS 5.0.0.681 (Applications version).

Anyways, I ran into something similar the other day. While I am running the same OS as you are, this actually happened to me a few days later.

I was mystified, tried battery pulls, etc. but always got the loading bar, white screen, and then device shutdown. Turned out the battery was too low to power on the phone.

Plugged it in, the phone booted and came up like normal. It's been fine ever since.
