I recently upgraded from a 8320 curve to a 8900.

I listen to my music on my BB and use the media player.
Noticed yesterday that the media player stops whenever I receive a message (email or BBM).

Did some search on the web and here but could not find a solution.

Anyone knows how to fix this or is experiencing the same?

Try a hard reset. With the power on, remove the battery for 30-60 seconds. See if that fixes the problem. I believe it will.

No problem. Remember that. A battery pull is the first step in troubleshooting.

Yeah. I had done it twice. It took another couple of battery pulls to work... Fussy beast!
