Is there a 3rd party OCS client available for the Blackberry ?

We are in the process of rolling out OCS 2007 R2 and the admins are unwilling to install a R1 server to support the Blackberry devices and there is no timeframe from RIM for a native R2 client...

None that I've seen or heard of.
All they'd need to do is keep Communicator Web Access (CWA) at OCS 2007 and it will work with the rest of the OCS R2 infrastructure.

The CWA approach only works if you have a 2007 environment.

We have the problem, that we will migrate from Lotus Sametime directly to OCS 2007 R2.

I heard that RIM is actively developing a suitable client - I could imagine that a beta is shown at the WES

We have one in beta at present and will be launching V1 on March 10th 2010 at the UKUC Expo at Olympia in London. let me know if u want more info.

Well - here is what I know. I've heard from various sources that development of an OCS R2 BB app is due for the end of Q4 this year. I can confirm that the Co I work for (formicary) are launching our OCS R2 Mobile Chat app for the Blackberry next week - if anyone is going to the UKUC Expo next week drop by and have a look. Alternatively it is possible to go for an evaluation of the software. This version requires you to have a BES.
