Default HELP! While disassembling my 8900, I tore something

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I'm new here so I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place. I did a quick search and didn't see my issue, so I'm hoping someone can help. I have an 8900 that I am swapping cases for and while I was trying to remove a sticker/electronic component, I tore it. Can anybody tell me what I just broke and if I can get a replacement for it. It's the piece above the camera housing on the back cover piece. If you take off the battery cover, in the upper right corner, there is an identifier: "MFC DC:0909". The "sticker" goes up and over the camera housing and back down the other side. There is another number identifier on the top that reads "PCB-17851-001_F". Can someone please tell me what I've done and how I can fix it?

Thanks in advance for your help.

~Matt

Wirelessly posted

I'm not sure what you have done as I have not been able to get a 8900 to open, but I would suggest you take it in to a repair shop.
