When I use my personal gmail account to send e-mails from my BlackBerry 7290, only user name (jbond) appears in my receipient in-box, not my full name (James Bond) - say my name is James Bond, e-mail is . How do I make my full name (James Bond) appear in the receipent's in-box?

Has nothing to do with your Blackberry.

Go to your gmail account>settings and then to your ACCOUNTS TAB. It either now is your default name in your reg info when you signed up with GMAIL or there is a place to put your "friendly name".
