I'm not sure if this is a physical problem or something that is just a software bug. But, if I press the escape or "go back" button on my Curve2 8530 keyboard, it doesn't respond. In fact, it initiates the "b" character and if I'm in messages, it goes to the bottom of the email list. VERY ANNOYING!

If I am in phone mode, it puts B$ in the dial line. If I press escape multiple times, I get multiple B$B$B$B$B$B$

Does anyone else have this happening?

Keyboard issues such as you are experiencing are classic symptoms of moisture exposure. It doesn't have to be a liquid spill. A sweaty pocket, steamy locker room, etc have been reported to cause problems. If that is a possibility, you need to remove the battery _now_. Thx for the info. It must have happened in the factory or in transit as it did it from day one right out of the box. I'll call VZW warranty to see about a replacement if no one else has any other ideas.

Warranty exchange is what I would do. Don't even troubleshoot.
