Yeah. This post doesn't help anybody unless you tell us what store has this deal. It sounds like a T-mobile phone though. Isn't their 3G incompatible with AT&T's or something like that?
There are a couple of authorized dealers selling them for $149.99. Just do a search for "bold 9700 $149.99" and you'll sniff them out. I've read in a couple of forums that TMO will be offering the same price towards the end of next week (Nov. 26-28th).
This link does not work. It just takes you to the "find a store" page.
I called AT&T and asked why a new customer gets a better price than somebody who's been with AT&T for 6+ years. The rep I talked to was confused by this. After a lot of looking stuff up she found a promotion going on that is only available in the stores, through premier, or the corporate store (she might have called it fulfillment or something like that). It's $174.99.
I called the nj shop they said they were selling it for 150 but there sold out. i live in fl and i called the local corp att and the ysaid it was 199 and iasked them why othere corperate stores sold it 149 becuase ive seen alot of other people saying 149 in nj any ny the ***** gave me attitude and said iwas lieng haha! what a kunt!!!! srry 4 vulgarity

I believe the Lexington AT&T Corporate Store is selling it for that price also. A friend of mine who works in NYC got it this evening. Makes me wish I worked in NYC ... Argh ..
must be a tri-state area pricing promotion. I am waiting for Yippie... to call the number and tell everyone that it is true... He/She has been the biggest pooper about these posts.
I was just saying that everybody who is posting on the $50 net deal wasn't posting any details. Now you have. I'll call them tomorrow and see what happens. Hopefully, they'll verify that price and will be willing to verify it to corporate so they'll give me a credit.
I'm on the phone with the NJ store referenced above, and sure enough, to quote:
"it's $50 after a $100 rebate."
Wow. Only problem is they suggested it is a New York, New Jersey regional deal only. Online customer service didn't seem willing to offer a refund to match those prices. I will try again in a bit, but I might just need to wait until Friday to see if there are deals in my region that I can jump on.
