Does anyone know if o2 UK have/will provide a blackberry os update?
They are generally not too good with software updates as only a couple of people know about the updates, and the first person you get through to doesnt have a clue.

Seems to vary from carrier to carrier some being more aware and up to date then others. If you after a more current version of handheld code in some cases you can use another carriers handheld software usually works if the hardware versions match up. For example I have a BB 7780 through Rogers Wireless but I'm using handheld OS 3.7.3.20 for the BB 7780 from a Hong Hong carrier as the current Rogers release is 3.7.1.41

Thanks, i wasnt sure if using another providers software would stop my blackberry from working.
